02 · The road so far
Master's degree. The first repos on my GitHub are from here: data structures, a database project for an aquapark, a code camp.
A year of studying in Germany and building domain-specific languages with Xtext and Xtend. German went from a school subject to a working language.
Three years on rail automation software. Code where "it mostly works" is not an option.
Classifieds apps for cars, real estate and everything else, for one of Slovakia's biggest portals. This is where mobile stuck.
Took over a classifieds Android app end to end: architecture, releases, client calls, estimates. Still running it. On the side, three years on the Android app of M‑Brain (now Valona Intelligence), a Finnish market‑intelligence company, with a team across several countries.
Node.js backend, React frontend. Proof that the Android box is not the only one I fit in.
Took the test. Top five: Developer, Relator, Individualization, Focus, Positivity. It named what I had been doing anyway.
Through Italy and Spain by car, all the way to the Rock, with Africa on the horizon. The same year I started building Peter Transcript. Both are the same instinct: pick a far point and keep going.

I notice small improvements in people and I like being part of them. Mentoring is not a side task for me.
I'd rather work hard with people I know well than network widely. Ten years of volunteering with the same organisation in Germany says the same.
Everyone works differently. I figure out how, and put people where they do their best work.
Pick the direction, set priorities, correct course. Say no to what doesn't move the goal.
Energy is contagious. I bring it, and I keep it honest.
06 · Beyond the keyboard

Italy and Spain, all the way down to the Rock. Long days, one car, no rush.
Balance, patience, and small daily progress. The same loop as shipping software, just with more falling. In Munich I tried a line rigged over the water.
A 10 kWp solar system wired into a TapHome smart‑home setup so solar surplus drives the water heater and room heating. Written in config, not in hope.
A decade as a volunteer translator (German ↔ Slovak) and organiser for a German youth organisation. Long‑term relationships and doing the job properly, every year.
I own and manage a few rental properties hands‑on, utility billing included. It's where I learned that good admin is just another kind of engineering.
